In 2007 she co-founded and led Spirit Up, a multi awarded Digital Creative Agency She is an active member of the MENA Business ecosystem and a Global leader in supporting women in Business and Tech, and she is  co-chairing the Business Innovator Committee in Dubai Capital Club She is a frequent speaker and presenter at regional and international conferences, forums and associations on a wide variety of Mobility, Digital innovation and Business transformation, People and Culture, and Regional development topics.

Sheila Shadmand is the Partner-in-Charge of the Middle East & Africa for Jones Day, one of the world’s largest global law firms.  Over her 26 years of her practice, she has represented large global corporates on a myriad of disputes and investigation matters.  An American, she moved to Dubai in 2008 and was the first female head of an international law firm in the UAE (and likely the broader Gulf region).  She is passionate about fostering collaborative environments for female C-Suite executives in the region, where they may share their experiences, ideas, and advice to propel the success and advancement of women in business.  She is also passionate about creating programs and content that correct the often misperceived notion in the West of the role of women in the Middle East.
